"The Family Tree" is a simple story for lower grade students. The story is developed from a boy called Johnny. It's his seventh birthday. His father and grandfather picked him up from his school. The plot of the story is very simple. It adopts the question-and-answer style to help reader to follow the plot. For example, what happen next?
Grandpa's life and his old day story are told after that. In his birthday, of course, there were no cakes, ice-cream, birthday presents. His mother only prepared muffins for him.
